FRESH, COOL AROMA – Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is the second most popular essential oil in the United States. It is cooling to the skin and gives off a fresh, cool aroma. This U.S.-sourced essential oil comes from the prominent Yakima valley in Washington state.
ORIGIN AND SOURCING – Peppermint is believed to be native to the Mediterranean region, although the actual origin is uncertain. The crossing of its two, parent species — mentha and piperita — occurred in the wild.
ORGANIC OIL – Organic essential oils differ from conventional oils in that the botanicals from which they are derived are grown according to the USDA’s Organic Standards. Our manufacturing facility and all of our organic essential oils have also been certified organic by the established third-party certifier, Quality Assurance International (QAI).
